No celebration is complete without a delicious ice cream cake! So I wanted to review a few of the local Bay Area options to buy ice cream cakes for all occasions.

I put these two together because they're good options that you can find in any city. Baskin Robbins ice cream cakes were a part of my youth, and so I look at them with a bit of nostalgia. While they may not be the most extravagant option, they taste good, come in a variety of flavors, and are relatively inexpensive. I prefer the Baskin Robbins roll cakes with cookies n' cream ice cream. Ben & Jerry's cakes are definitely better quality, but are significantly more expensive. Note: the Ben & Jerry's cakes are really hard, so you need to let them thaw for at least 20 minutes before serving.
