CREAM is a Bay Area ice cream chain that specializes in customizable ice cream sandwiches. They are delicious, and they are a must to try for anyone who finds themselves in the Bay. But this post is dedicated to another product of theirs, ice cream sandwich cakes. Yes, that's right. An ice cream sandwich, that is cake sized. Essentially, two cookie cakes with ice cream piled in between and sprinkles on the outside layer. This beauty, which I got for my last day in my grad school lab, features cookies n' cream on the inside, with double chocolate chip cookies. It fed all 15 people in my lab and only cost $30, which is a great deal for an ice cream cake. It tastes just as good as the standard CREAM sandwich, which is to say, really really good. Also, it's a lot less messy than the standard CREAM sandwich, as it can be sliced like a pie. Overall, I highly recommend this option to anyone looking to buy a fun and unique, and most importantly tasty, ice cream cake.
